I just wanted to say that I'm glad you are feeling better Giselle, I know how hard it it to try and create things when you are not in a good place.

I'm looking forward to seeing the new improvements you have ready for us, and I cant wait to see the new RPG style section.

Announcements / Moving Forward...

As you may know, ongoing development of FLSM had to be put on hold for a bit, due to us being a two person team and the difficulties that arise from that when trying to do something on the scale of this game. We'd spent a ton of time, effort, and, frankly, money trying to get an RPG mode working properly, but in the end it just proved to be too large of an undertaking for such a tiny team. At least as far as the way we were trying to go about it. We wanted the RPG to have the same high resolution/high detail models that the Glimmer Deck (simulation mode that we released first) has, but whoa that is just not possible. We tried.

As of today I am officially starting programming work on the new RPG-style version of FLSM that is actually doable. We've been planning and designing for a couple of months now, and I'm ready to start in on the framework today. We'll announce it soon on Patreon, once we have things in place. As far as visual style goes, this game will be different from the existing "Glimmer Deck". It will be lower poly and less ultra high detailed, but as a result, we'll be able to focus on the gameplay, which we think (hope!) you will really enjoy.

For fans of the "Glimmer Deck", we will be resuming work on that as well. I'd added and improved things right before we took our hiatus, and those things never made it into a released update. I'm polishing that off and will try to continue to release updates for that in the future, as well as working on the RPG-style game.

Speaking for myself, I've personally been through, well, to be honest, a roller coaster ride of difficulties in my life over the past year or so, and it really threw me for a loop. Being in a dark place is no help when you're trying to be creative. That is for damned sure. Things are way better now, though. I'm back in action, ready to get busy expanding the world of FLSM, and ready to rock.

The character editor is amazing. I hope you improve upon it even more. I really enjoy having a lot of options. Personalization makes me bond with the character a bit more tbh.

Thank you! Yes, we will be introducing new things to the Character Editor in the (hopefully) near future.

Not sure if this has been suggested before, but I think it would be really cool if you could import a cropped picture of a face and have it used as the texture for a character. Perhaps you could have a basic editor to furthr crop / rotate / stretch the image so it fits the head model.

What do you think ? Would it be possible to implement this ? I think it would be a killer feature to have.

I've already got the functionality in there to load textures for characters, but I never fully finalized it. It's possible that I can put this in an upcoming build.

This game would really benefit from being able to control what's happening. Not just changing modes, but being able to control hands, the head and mouth, etc.

If you can make that happen, it opens up a whole new realm of potential.

Additionally, it would be amazing to have online multiplayer, if not in an MMO respect, perhaps a matchmaking queue to match people with a partner of their preference.

Controlling various body parts is interesting and I'll give that some thought. Online multiplayer is something we've always wondered about doing, but never seem to be able to come up with a good way to make that happen properly. It's possible, but not easy to do. Definitely would be cool, though.

might be some hyper fans out there but maybe you guys could add hyper or mega size sliders for certain body parts for some kinky fun? :p
