Suggestions and wish lists / More reliable options include slate and ceramic tile
« Last post by nicejuicers on November 20, 2017, 06:04:52 PM »
The kitchen is a tough area to decide on when it comes to flooring.  On one hand, the flooring must be comfortable enough to stand on for long durations.  On the other hand, however, the flooring must be resistant to stains and a high level of foot traffic.  The right kitchen flooring requires little maintenance and can keep up with the demands placed on it by a modern kitchen.  Spills and accidents will inevitably happen on a fairly frequent basis, demanding reliability and durability from flooring that is installed in the kitchen area.  To prevent serious maintenance problems and future expenses, it pays to install the right kind of flooring to begin with.

Wood flooring has traditionally been seen in kitchen flooring, but it has a tendency to suffer under harsh kitchen conditions.  Wood aborbs moisture, causing it to warp and crack over time.  When a wood floor absorbs too much moisture it can end up crowning or cupping, producing an unsightly and uneven surface.  The only way to fix this problem is to sand it down, or to go the expensive route and replace the floor.  Neither of these are very attractive options, and involve many hours as well as thousands of dollars.  While a properly constructed and processed wood floor may resist these problems, wood flooring is certainly more prone to suffer from them.

More reliable options include slate and ceramic tile.  Tile and slate do not suffer from water exposure, and do not suffer from warping or cracking.  As fairly tough materials, they experience little facial steamer expansion or contraction.

Slate and ceramic flooring are available in a broad range of colors and shades.  Slate and ceramic flooring Snack Maker are very resistant to slipping, making them a safer surface to use in the kitchen as well.  Hardwood flooring can become slick, especially if it has been exposed to moisture.  When using slate as a kitchen surface, be sure to go with a low gloss or finish for extra slip protection.

Laminate flooring is a great alternative to both wood and slate.  To achieve that hardwood look without all the associated upkeep problems, laminate flooring can be a wonderful alternative.  Laminate flooring is easy to install, affordable, and very resistant to both absorbing moisture and food stains.

Laminate flooring is also engineered to work under heavy loads and traffic.  The kitchen is a demanding place for flooring, and should be treated as such.  Choosing the right kind of flooring will give homeowners lasting durability, with low maintenance requirements.

If you have built your new kitchen, or just moved into a new property, then you now have the daunting task of selecting all the electrical appliances you need to fully furnish your kitchen and equip it it properly. With the sheer number of products available on the market, it is undoubtedly a difficult task to select the appliances most suitable to you.

Firstly, its important to take into account the size of the space you have to work in. Is this a large space or are you restricted? This is the most important stage as it will determine the number of appliances, and the size of each one, that you are able to select for your kitchen. Most appliances, no matter what their purpose, are available in sizes ranging from small to super sized - a good example being the American style freezers that are becoming increasingly common place. It is therefore important to know the sizes you are able to select from before embarking on purchasing.

Next, you need to select the type and number of appliances you can have in your kitchen. To give you facial steamer an idea of the number of appliances available, ask yourself do you need all of the following... Dishwasher, washing machine, spin dryer, cooker, grill, oven, fryer, slow cooker, microwave, fridge, and freezer. Unless you have an exceptionally large kitchen, you would have trouble fitting all these appliances in your kitchen. So its important to select the range of appliances you need, and not just every one. A good way to do this is to select combination appliances. For example a Combi Washer and Dryer or a Fridge Freezer.

Remember that your fridge freezer may need to be plumbed, depending on its size. Any dishwasher and washing machine will also need to plumbed. This can severely limit the options you have available when positioning your appliances and also the storage you are placing in your new kitchen. Take into consideration which appliances need to be near to a water pipe, which need to be placed next to an electrics mains and which can be stand alone. At this point you should be ready to begin selecting your appliances.

To ensure you get a good deal for your appliances, shop around. Don't just take the first deal that you come across. Chances Chocolate Maker are if one supplier has reduced the price of an item, then others will have done the same. Make sure you take into consideration the delivery cost when it comes to the final price as well. Many suppliers add this on to the final price. Look for stores that offer free delivery or rapid delivery options.

Suggestions and wish lists / Re: Importing faces from images
« Last post by Giselle on November 03, 2017, 01:48:59 PM »
Not sure if this has been suggested before, but I think it would be really cool if you could import a cropped picture of a face and have it used as the texture for a character. Perhaps you could have a basic editor to furthr crop / rotate / stretch the image so it fits the head model.

What do you think ? Would it be possible to implement this ? I think it would be a killer feature to have.

I've already got the functionality in there to load textures for characters, but I never fully finalized it. It's possible that I can put this in an upcoming build.
Suggestions and wish lists / Re: Interactivity, and multiplayer.

This game would really benefit from being able to control what's happening. Not just changing modes, but being able to control hands, the head and mouth, etc.

If you can make that happen, it opens up a whole new realm of potential.

Additionally, it would be amazing to have online multiplayer, if not in an MMO respect, perhaps a matchmaking queue to match people with a partner of their preference.

Controlling various body parts is interesting and I'll give that some thought. Online multiplayer is something we've always wondered about doing, but never seem to be able to come up with a good way to make that happen properly. It's possible, but not easy to do. Definitely would be cool, though.
